We're off to Germany at 8AM tomorrow morning, and I'm nowhere near ready yet - I haven't packed a thing, still have reservations and phone calls to make, and there is no way I'm going to get everything done that I need to at work. But that's all beside the point - one way or another, I'll have this vacation by the reins within 24 hours, and everything else will be fading out with the rest of North America on the horizon.
So this time around, I figured I'd take advantage of modern technology a bit more, and have set aside this web-space for my very own travel blog. This will of course save me the trouble of writing out a slew of separate emails to separate people, and will make it easier for me to look back on as well. If you have an RSS reader of some sort (like Google Reader, for example,) you can subscribe to this page for regular updates with the link on the right. If you don't, you can either check back here whenever you want, or you can subscribe via email with the other link on the right.
I'll try and update as often as possible, but gallivanting around central Europe oftentimes leaves less time for such things than would be expected, so I can't make any promises. I'll also try and upload a few photos here and there, if I can find a public computer that has easily-accessible USB ports.
Just in case you're interested, here's what our vague semblance of plans look like so far (counterclockwise from Berlin):
